1. Crack Inspection
(1) Inspect the crack area to determine its width and depth. Decide on the necessary measures and materials before starting the work. (2) Select the appropriate application method and materials based on the inspection.
2. Cleaning the Work Area
Thoroughly remove any debris from the area to be repaired, ensuring a clean surface for effective adhesion.
3. V-Cutting
Perform V-cutting on the crack area according to the size of the crack. If necessary, apply an epoxy primer to the V-cut area using a small brush. The epoxy primer enhances the adhesion of the sealing material.
4. First Coat of Sealing Material
Apply the first coat of sealing material using a brush or trowel, ensuring the crack is filled to a width of at least 50mm and a thickness of 1mm.
5. Second Coat of Sealing Material
(1) Apply the second coat to address any shrinkage or missed areas from the first coat and to smooth the surface. After the final application, allow the surface to dry completely before applying a water-based paint for finishing.
(2) Coverage for the second coat: approximately 20m per kg.
