Polyurethane Intermediate Coating (Non-Exposed) (DK-550)

Polyurethane Intermediate Coating (Non-Exposed) (DK-550)

The Polyurethane Intermediate Coating (Non-Exposed) (DK-550) is a high-performance, two-component polyurethane coating. It combines polyol and cycloparaffin resin with a polyisocyanate hardener, offering excellent elasticity, elongation, and waterproofing capabilities for non-exposed areas.

Cold curing method for easy application and excellent workability.

Seamless waterproof layer, ideal for complex and vertical surfaces.

Rubber-like coating that prevents cracking and enhances durability.

Superior water, chemical, and weather resistance for long-lasting protection.

Caution

  1. Surface Preparation

    • Allow the concrete and substrate surface to dry thoroughly.
    • Remove all contaminants such as dust, oil, and laitance.
    • Use a grinder to smooth out protruding or aged areas on the surface.

  2. Primer Application

    • Apply the primer evenly to the surface using a roller, brush, or spray gun.
    • Ensure that the primer is uniformly distributed and well absorbed by the surface.

  3. Polyurethane Mixing

    • Mix the base and hardener in the correct ratio and stir thoroughly.
    • Ensure the mixture is evenly blended to achieve a consistent composition.

  4. Polyurethane Application

    • Apply the polyurethane coating within the pot life, using tools like trowels, brushes, or rollers for difficult-to-reach areas.
    • If a re-coat is needed, apply it immediately after the touch-dry time has passed.

  5. Surface Treatment

    • After the polyurethane coating has fully cured, finish the application with a protective mortar layer.
    • Complete the coating process with additional protective treatments to enhance waterproofing performance.
